1:1 Services
Confidence Building and Public Speaking
Whether you're preparing for a presentation, speech, or simply looking to enhance your communication skills, I can help you build confidence in your voice.
Together, we’ll work on overcoming any fears, refining your delivery, and cultivating a strong, assertive voice that holds the attention of your audience.
Voice and Text Work
Are you an actor, public speaker, or writer looking to connect more deeply with your material?
Together, we’ll explore your script or text to enhance vocal delivery—unlocking emotional depth, clarity, and intention, so every word resonates with purpose.
Voice as a Safeguarding Tool
Your voice is more than just a means of expression—it's a powerful tool for personal empowerment and character creation.
I specialize in using voice to help you craft a unique sonic identity for your character, one that not only fuels a deeper, more authentic transformation but also creates a clear separation between you and the role. This vital practice helps you leave your work on stage or set, protecting your well-being and allowing you to enjoy your life offstage.
Developed through my doctoral research, this approach is a game-changer for modern-day actors and is often overlooked in the industry.
Accent and Dialect Work
Preparing for an audition or performance in a different accent or dialect?
In our sessions, we’ll work on mastering the 4 P's of accent work: People, Posture, Prosody, and Pronunciation.
You’ll learn the subtleties and nuances of various accents, refine your pronunciation, and build fluidity to ensure authenticity and depth in your character.
Through this focused approach, you will gain a deeper understanding of how accent and dialect shape communication and performance.
Vocal Health and Release Work
Protecting your voice is just as crucial as using it. I offer guidance on maintaining optimal vocal health and addressing issues like strain, fatigue, or discomfort.
In addition to traditional vocal release techniques, I incorporate laryngeal manipulation as an intervention tool to help release tension in the voice box (larynx) and enhance vocal flexibility.
This approach can alleviate hoarseness, reduce discomfort, increase range, stamina, flexibility and resonance and promote a freer, more natural sound that restores a sense of ‘connectedness’ for the performer.
Vocal Strengthening Exercises
Whether you are a professional voice user or just looking to improve your vocal stamina, I offer targeted vocal exercises to help strengthen your voice.
These exercises are designed to build endurance, power, and control, allowing you to use your voice more effectively over longer periods of time.
Physical Voice Release
Physical tension in the body can directly impact your vocal freedom. If the body is restricted, your voice will be too.
Using targeted physical release techniques, we’ll work on alleviating tension throughout your body, unlocking greater freedom and range in your voice. This approach is especially beneficial for those who feel limited by physical tightness when speaking or performing.
